During the third quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps in Nigeria demonstrated varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Wakanow: Flights, Hotels, Cars maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 17K in mid-August. Active users showed a slight increase from approximately 155K to over 162K by the end of September.

Currency Converter Plus experienced fluctuating downloads, starting at 7.3K and reaching as low as 3.6K, before ending the quarter at approximately 4.2K. Active users showed a growth trend, beginning with 21.4K and rising to over 25K in late September. The app's weekly revenue remained consistently low, generally around $1 throughout the quarter.

Find my Phone - Family Locator saw a decline in downloads from 5K to about 2.2K, with a slight resurgence to 3.8K by quarter's end. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 10.2K and dropping to about 7.2K, then rising again to approximately 9.8K. Revenue showed modest fluctuations, peaking at $260 in late September.

Bella Pro had a significant increase in downloads, starting with just 28 and skyrocketing to over 11K by early September, before settling at 9.2K at the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue saw a sharp rise from $1 in early July to $53 by the end of September. Active users increased dramatically from 1.5K to over 12K.

Qatar Airways experienced a steady decline in downloads, starting at 3.8K and ending the quarter at around 2.3K. Active users also decreased from 18K to approximately 16.5K over the same period. Revenue data was not available for this app.
